Network Safelist
If your corporate server policy allows all outbound https communication to any IP address or website, you do not need to make any changes to access PeakLoad's website. However, if your server policy denies access to most or all external IP addresses and websites, you'll find steps below on configuring your company's firewall and mail servers. This is to ensure your users can receive PeakLoad breaking news emails and digests, as well as access our website.
While our servers are hosted in Amazon Web Services, PeakLoad's update emails are triggered through SendGrid. You can make the following changes to your security settings to ensure you receive emails from PeakLoad:
- Add IP address to safelist: PeakLoad's Sendgrid emails all come from the IP 159.183.177.218. Adding this IP to your organization's safelist will ensure that you are able to receive emails from PeakLoad.
- Add domains to safelist: Please make sure you configure the following hosts as trusted senders on your email server and firewall so that emails from PeakLoad aren't rejected:
- @peakload.com
- @mail.peakload.com
- Please make sure [email protected] and [email protected] are not routed to the spam or graymail. If you don't do this, your breaking news, daily digest, and other communications from PeakLoad may not make it to your inbox.
